Lujo Luxury Living

Luxury furniture Shopify store down for 8 weeks over missing product images. The designer had given up. Fixed in 48 hours.
The challenge
After a collection update, all product images disappeared from the Shopify store. Lujo Luxury Living, a luxury furniture shop in La Marina, Finestrat, had been unable to sell online for 8 weeks. The designer had tried everything. The supplier and stock inventory software weren't giving useful feedback.
What I did
My analysis found that the supplier's images were downloadable files, not inline. Shopify only accepts inline images. That was the root cause.
First fix: a stock image application that cached and served the images inline. It worked, until the supplier took their server down due to overload and added extra security.
I built a CDN proxy worker on Cloudflare. It fetches all images through the supplier's security layer, caches them, and a stock sync application uploads them directly to Shopify. I also filled out the product descriptions and dimensions while I was at it.
Outcome
From 8 weeks of downtime to a working store in 48 hours. All images visible, zero changes to the owner's Shopify configuration.
